Important Note on Sizing
This specific model is designed for 4.5mm glass. Please measure your tank's glass thickness before printing to ensure a snug fit.
How to fit your tank thickness:
This model is natively designed for 4.5mm glass. If your tank has a different thickness, you can scale the model in your slicer.
Pro Tip: I recommend using Non-Uniform Scaling (uncheck the lock icon) and only scale the axis that corresponds to the width of the hook gap. This keeps the bracket's height and thickness consistent.
• For 5mm glass: Scale to 111%
• For 6mm glass: Scale to 133%
• For 8mm glass: Scale to 178%
• For 10mm glass: Scale to 222%
The fit is snug. If it's too tight, increase the scale by 1-2%.
Recommended Print Settings
• Material: PETG or ASA is highly recommended. (Avoid PLA as it may creep or deform over time due to the constant tension and proximity to aquarium lights/humidity).
• Infill: 15-25% (Grid or Gyroid).
• Walls: 3+ walls for extra strength at the hook bend.
• Supports: No supports needed if printed on their side.
