Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like my model, please consider boosting this design.  It's free for you, yet it makes a huge difference for me.  Thanks for helping me keep creating!

A handy 3D‑printed corner clamping buddy that helps to keep two boards perfectly aligned while you tighten real clamps during glue up.

Features:

  • Holds the two pieces at a perfect right angle.
  • Provides flat, robust surfaces for your clamps to press against.
  • Keeps clamp pressure from denting or shifting the workpieces.
  • Think of it as a chunky, plastic “L” block with some smart features.

Infill and wall recommendations

For a structural jig:

  • Walls: 3–5 perimeters (shells) to make the outer skin strong.
  • Infill: 30–60% grid or gyroid is common; go higher if you’re clamping large/heavy pieces.
  • Material: PLA works for light use, but PETG or ABS is better if you’re applying lots of clamp force or working in a warm shop.
