6er Raus
Print Profile(1)

Description
6er Raus is a beautiful and fun game for young and old.
The game is often crafted together with children (from wood, paper/cardboard, or an old can), which I think is great.
From this idea, the concept of painting the game also developed.
However, using an Edding marker directly on the untreated print is less suitable for this (see pictures).
But with the right colors, I can imagine that the game could also be printed in black and painted or designed in an artistic way..!?
The concept, design, and function for this game came to me back in 2022 with the basic idea of making it from wood on a lathe (see pictures).
Now, during the Christmas holidays, I decided to create a 3D model of it and hope you will like it.
Gift the game to a loved one for a birthday, Easter, Christmas, or just because, I'm sure it will bring joy to everyone!
Its compact design also allows you to take the game everywhere, whether on vacation, to the doctor, dinner, party, hike, or similar… it easily fits into any coat pocket and any handbag…
The two-sided scoreboard for up to 4 players not only allows everyone at the table to read the scores but also helps against cheating : ) Moreover, if children often don't want to stop playing, you can simply announce, “Okay… one more round and then it's really time to stop.”
Regarding 3D printing:
This is a PrintinPlace model that should be printable by everyone!?!
Important:
- Ensure good and constant active cooling! (For enclosed printers, the door must be kept open)
- Your printer should be calibrated, then everything will surely work!
What I noticed during printing:
- The pins are causing problems! I printed all my attempts with PLA Matte in white. It pulls ultra-thin threads that resemble cotton wool (see pictures). I suspect it's due to the small cross-section of the pins or the associated speed! Printing slower would be advantageous… maybe it's generally more sensible to make the pins (4mm) from something completely different (wood/metal)..? The print time without the pins is about 2 ½ hours, and during this time, the pins could easily be made from another material..!?..
- Regarding the aesthetics… The model has many small details that are not easy to print (with my print profile), such as the dots on the dice, or the slightly sunken playing surface, almost horizontal curves, etc… A 0.2mm nozzle would enable a nicer print… I could also imagine that tilting the playing surface/lid to about 65° with the use of support features would improve the appearance!?.. One has to experiment…
So….
now for the rules of the game:
- Each player receives the same number of pins.
- One player must somehow get to roll the first die, and one determine the order.
- The rolled number decides whether to give or take.
- Whoever gets rid of all their pins first gets a point.
- The player with the most of the possible five points is the winner.
- In case of a tie, the two players compete against each other for the win.
- Somehow, in some way, restart at rule 1.
In this spirit,
good luck and success!!
