I had an old roller shutter that used to fall by itself during the day, so I made this part and glued it to the winder to prevent the shutter from closing. Today I no longer have any issues.

Don't throw away your shutter winder just for a small missing plastic part!

This small part is essential: it holds the end of the strap firmly in place thanks to its pins that anchor into the fabric, preventing the strap from slipping or detaching from the metal mechanism.

Why print this part?

  • ♻️ Economical repair: Avoids buying a complete winder housing.
  • 💪 Reinforced: Designed to withstand strap tension.
  • ⚙️ Functional: The pins are modeled to effectively grip standard straps.
