Description

40-Pin GPIO Solderless Hammer-in Header kit for Raspberry Pi Zero, Zero W, Zero W 2

If you've ever tried to install a solderless GPIO header on a Pi Zero, you know it's a pain without a jig. To my surprise, I could not find an existing print to solve this common challenge.  I created this simple hammer-in jig/tool to install one on a Pi Zero 2 with ease and without damaging the Pi or header pins.  Simply place the header and Pi Zero in the jig and hammer together for perfect alignment every time.

Included in the .3mf template:

  • 2 plates with resizable solid & negative parts if any adjustments need to be made.
  • 1 plate with fixed STL files that fit the Pi Zero and Vilros 40 Pin GPIO Solderless kit I purchased.
  • 1 plate containing a Pi Zero 2 model for sizing reference.

Print Material / Time:

  • Material: PLA or PETG work well  (I used PLA)
  • Print time:  Roughly 35 Min
