Description
This water lily bookmark prints entirely flat, but once folded and placed in your book, it creates a gentle 3D bloom effect when the book is closed.
After printing, simply fold the bookmark in half and lightly shape the petals. The thin profile slides easily between pages and can be used from the top or the side of your book. When the book is closed, the water lily appears to bloom softly between the pages, adding a calm, decorative touch to your reading.
It’s lightweight, elegant, and designed to feel more like a small piece of art than a traditional bookmark — perfect for readers who enjoy subtle details and peaceful aesthetics.
🖨️ Print Notes
- Prints completely flat
- Very thin — remove slowly and carefully from the build plate
- No supports required
- After printing:
- Fold the bookmark in half
- Gently shape the petals for best effect
- PLA is recommended for best results
Material notes:
- TPU can be used, but may spring back and not hold the folded shape as well
- PETG also works, but can be more difficult to remove from the build plate due to the thin profile
- For ease of printing, clean removal, and shape retention, PLA works best
