This is a detailed Protoceratops skull, based on one of the most famous small horned dinosaurs from the Late Cretaceous.
Protoceratops is especially interesting because it represents an early ceratopsian, showing the evolutionary steps that eventually led to giants like Triceratops. Despite being much smaller, it already has the distinctive frill that defines the group.
Printing notes:
- Supports on this model come away quite easily
- Take extra care around the thinner areas at the top of the frill
- Gentle, patient removal is all that’s needed
- A matching display stand is included on the second build plate for clean presentation
Ideal for display, education, collections, or dioramas, especially if you enjoy lesser-known but scientifically important dinosaurs.
