This measuring cup is used for a quick estimation of water flow in the range of 4 to 12 L/min. The water level rises with constant inflow and indicates the approximate flow value at the markings.
The bottom hole is already integrated into the model and appropriately sized.
How to use the measuring cup
- Let the water jet run into the cup from the side.
If the jet is directed directly onto the bottom hole, the displayed value will be significantly too low. - Hold the cup under the running tap until the water level stabilizes.
- Read the water level from the outside:
The level can be seen very well with a flashlight from behind.
With transparent filament, the water level can also be more easily visible.
Note
The measuring cup provides a practical guide for household and hobby applications. It does not replace precise measuring devices, but offers a quick and easy way to roughly determine the flow.
