Scepter of Asgard – Modular Nordic Scepter

This Scepter of Asgard is a Nordic-inspired, modular scepter designed with a focus on clear forms, calm design, and reliable printability.
The design combines classic Nordic elements such as runes, ravens, and the Valknut in a cohesive, balanced overall form.

The scepter is suitable as a decorative object, for cosplay, or as an exhibition piece.

Note:

This model was primarily designed manually. Individual smaller form elements were created using image-to-3D tools, then adapted and integrated into an independent overall design.

Printing & Material Notes

  • The file contains several numbered print plates that correspond to the logical assembly order.
  • Please do not change orientation, scaling, or print settings.
  • No adjustment of print parameters is required – only the filament colors can be customized.
  • Standard layer heights (e.g., 0.2 mm) are sufficient.

Dimensions

Total height (assembled): approx. 500 mm
Total width: approx. 200 mm

Print time and material consumption vary depending on the printer, settings, and material.

LED Option (optional)

If transparent or milky-transparent filament is used for the orb, it is possible to insert an LED tea light candle inside.
No special print profile is required; the lighting effect is created automatically by the material.

(LED tea light is not included.)

Assembly

  • Assembly is done via printed plug connections, which allow for correct alignment of the components.
  • All parts are clearly named and logically structured.
  • No special tools are required.
  • Glue the plug connections to the corresponding components if additional stability is desired.

An exploded view for assembly overview is included in the model images and serves solely for visual orientation during assembly.

Color Variants

Various color variants are shown in the model images to illustrate how the scepter's appearance changes depending on the chosen colors.
The shown color combinations serve solely as visual examples.

Design Note

All details have been deliberately designed so that they can be printed cleanly and reliably even with standard print settings.
Fine structures are designed as reliefs and are not intended for manual coloring.
