Description

+UPDATED+
I updated the model to address some print issues.  The logs are now on a different plate, with cutouts on the main model to accommodate the logs after print.  This will fix the issues some were having with a failed print!

Updated Pictures with new model

Also of note - these logs are compatible with the logs from Skull Bridge - So if you already have those, or if you want to run with the widened planked logs, you can alternatively print Plate 2 from Skull Bridge.  These logs will also work with Skull Bridge, which makes for a much harder and unstable crossing!

This is the first part in a series that Is want to do - taking the path of crawling through a forgotten jungle discovering weird and ancient things!

This one is called Skull Crossing - a Dead End in many ways, thankfully some intrepid explorers cut down a tree and placed its halves up and provided a way out!

Crawler Tile - Connectable - Skull Crossing

This is the first in the Explorer theme for Connectable Crawler tile based crawler park fun!  In this tile, we find our explorers discovering a Dead End in many ways, thankfully some intrepid explorers cut down a tree and placed its halves up and provided a way out!

Skull Crossing

This all prints on a single plate.

Scale

This is intended to suit both 1:30th crawler like the Axial SCX30, and the 1:24th like the Axial SCX24.  I find the most fun at this general tile size to be with the 1:30th crawlers.

Connectable Tiles

You will find many connectable tiles here!  Search for “Crawler Park” or “Crawler Tile” - or items such as SCX30/34 and such, and Maker World will show you suggestions along these lines.  Some of the ones that I have printed and like so far are from by @StevenDH here and there are many others like a set here by @magicfilament here.  Some that look great, but I havent printed yet are some from @PCub3D here.

Explorer Series

I have other models, and more coming soon!

Boost Me (for free)

It takes a fair amount of filament sometimes to print and find errors!  Any boost if you found this fun and enjoyable would be great - thank you!
