DeWalt DW716 Miter Saw Dust Hood Holder

Do you have a DeWalt DW716 Miter Saw? You know that it's an excellent and precise power saw; however, the dust collection function is non-existent. Unfortunately, the design is so bad that it sprays dust everywhere.

To mitigate this, I created a Dust Hood Holder that slips over the existing black steel bracket behind the saw. You can get your own rubber curtain and bolt it on to this dust holder (please see photos). I just cut out a basic shape from some old rubber and it works great. When the arm is lowered down, the flexible shape conforms to the shape of the tool. This has greatly reduced dust.

I used 20mm x M4 screws with large washers to fasten the flexible rubber hood to this PLA 3D printed bracket.
