Reefplug with bayonet catch

A reef plug for attaching corals to the reef rock. The bottom part is glued to the rock with reef cement or Portland cement. Corals can be fixed to the top part with superglue. Extra grooves are incorporated for better adhesion. The top part can then be fixed to the bottom part with a quarter turn. The bayonet does not jam downwards as usual, but upwards, creating a small gap, so a basal disc cannot fix the plug but can be “popped off” with a knife, and the plug is free again. If printed in black PETG, the plugs are quickly overgrown with biofilm and are no longer noticeable. I have been using this system for a year now and am still thrilled. The bottom part is designed so that the cement has many points to grip.
