Edifier/Bookshelf Speaker Stand

I needed some speaker stands but wanted something with a bit more drama. Looks different from every angle, and stands out as a showpiece on a desk.

Note: This profile is set up for quality over speed, so the profiles are long prints. I use fuzzy skin to reduce layer lines and 0.08mm layer height to eliminate supports.

On a P2S, at optimized settings, each stand is 2.5 days. You can reduce it to <12 hours by increasing the layer size to 0.2 and clearing the fuzzy skin settings, but it will have an effect on final surface quality.

Print Profile Settings

For optimal visual impact I use the following settings

Fuzzy Skin: Contour and Hole

Fuzzy Skin Point Distance: 0.1

Fuzzy Skin Thickness: 0.1

Layer Height: 0.08

Tree supports: slim

Sizing

These are created specifically for Edifier 1280DBS speaker, so the base of the top is 450x650mm. The good thing about this organic design is that you can easily scale it to any size you need and it will still likely look good.
