Modern Minimalist Slat Wall Clock

Give your wall a modern, industrial look with this stylish slat wall clock. The design combines clean vertical lines with striking typography (12, 3, 6) and minimalist hour markers.

Design Details

  • 6 vertical bars: The heart of the clock.
  • Numbers & Markers: Large 12, 3, and 6, plus four minimalist cubes for the remaining positions.
  • Dimensions: The bars have a total length of 367.5 mm.
  • Clock Mechanism Cover: A matching cover for the clock mechanism (to be purchased separately) is included.

Printing Instructions

I have prepared the bars in two variants:

  1. Split bars: Ideal for smaller print beds. These must be assembled after printing.
  2. Complete slat: If you have a printer with sufficient build volume (e.g., Bambu Lab H2D, H2C, H2S), you can use the file "Complete slat". Simply position the bar diagonally on the print bed.

Assembly & Installation

  • Hanging: Each element has a built-in triangular recess on the back. This allows everything to be easily hung on small nails. Important: The nails should have very small heads!
  • Alternative: Depending on the wall condition, the parts can also be securely fixed with mounting adhesive or strong double-sided tape (e.g., Tesa Powerstrips).
  • Positioning Aid: I used a screenshot from Fusion 360 as a template. Print out the image (possibly split into 4 A4 pages) and stick it to the wall as a guide. This makes aligning the gaps a breeze!

Note on the Clock Mechanism

The clock mechanism must be purchased separately. Since there are many different models, the included cover might not fit right away. You can either briefly adjust it (scale) in your slicer or hang the clock without the cover if the clock mechanism already fits visually.

Have fun printing and decorating your walls!

Good print!
