Boost Me (for free)
I design tools to fix real-world problems as I find them. If this model was useful to you, a boost is a great way to say thanks and help me create more!
I designed “Snap-A-Letter” to for the kit-card contest, however the kitcard isn't really necessary. I got a request to make letters using the MacOS “Techno” font (by David Berlow), so here they are!
I decided to skip the “snapping” feature because organizing the characters can be pretty time consuming 😅.
ℹ️ TIPS
- Test Fit: The print profile contains a single letter for you to test the fit.
- I recommend printing 3 sets of each plate :)
⚠️ Note that the tabs/pegs are printed along the Z-axis, so they can break if you force the letters.
Dimensions
- Font Height - About 20mm (~3/4") … a few symbols like “(” go up to 25mm (1")
- Letter Thickness - 2mm
- Peg Depth - 3mm
- Peg Height - 1mm
- If you find the pegs are too thin, try scaling the letters up by 30%, they will still look good!
Features
- Upper case alphabet
- Lower case alphabet

If you would like a different set of letters, or different dimensions, send me a message!
