Braided Beard Dwarf – Tabletop Miniature

🧔 Beard & Support Handling (Important)

The beard on this model is very delicate by design to preserve fine braided detail.

Support removal requires patience and care.
 

The photos show three stages of the same print:

• Photo 1 – Pre-support removal

Shows how the beard is fully supported and protected during printing.

• Photo 2 – After support removal

Supports have been carefully removed, revealing the full braid structure. The scaring is visible.

• Photo 3 – After light torch cleanup

A quick flame pass was used to melt away minor support scarring and restore smooth beard contours.

⚠️ Do not rush support removal

Use flush cutters, fine tweezers, and slow pressure. Pulling too aggressively can snap beard strands. If small scars remain, a quick heat pass (hot air gun or micro-torch) will clean them up beautifully.
