Description

Update 4/23/2026:

I update the files to fix an issue with the roof piece being too long and the top of the front and rear walls not aligning correctly.  During this update, I re-spaced the parts to make color printing easier.  You can see the order of the plates here:

  • Plate 1: Suspension plate, suspension parts, and other parts - filament set for black PLA
  • Plate 2: Universal front wall, rear wall, and roof, as well as other parts - filament set for white, can be changed to any other color.
  • Plate 3: Side walls - filament set for white, can be changed to any other color
  • Plate 4: Optional rear wall without diamond plate inset at bumper
  • Plate 5: Resin parts - still best to print these parts in resin.

I also combined the Ford and Chevy front walls into one piece to make swapping between chassis easier.  I also added cuts for strobe lights in this piece.

I added a second rear wall piece that does not require Plastruct diamond plate to finish.

****Original Description****

This is a 1/25 scale ambulance body “model kit” that can easily be printed on most 3D printer.  This model snaps together for easy assembly and features a chassis plate and suspension parts (no rear axle) to pair with your favorite 1/25 scale pickup truck.  Recommend using Plastruct diamond plate to finish off the rear step and back wall.  The slam locks, AC fans covers, and Whelen strobe bases can be resin printed for best results, or Don Mills slam locks can be used to complete the kit.

There are two front wall plates, one for the AMT Ford pickup trucks (I used the AMT 1994 Ford Lightning), and another for the AMT 1992 or 1996 Chevrolet Silverado kits.  Just cut the chassis off behind the cab and finish with a rear axle of your choosing.
