Description

A combined very long drain adapter and large bin specifically designed for the LG SIGNATURE Washer Dryer LSWD100X.

This specific LG is especially annoying to drain when placed directly on the floor, as it has a non-removable flap to hide the drain and detergent storage. That flap is in the way of draining properly. More annoying, this LG tends to need filter cleaning as often as every three cycles or it will clog and error out. I absolutely cannot endorse buying this machine; but if you're here, it likely means that it is already too late for you.

The bin is large enough so that all the excess water that is in the filter drain after a successful cycle can be contained. If you have to drain during a failed cycle, it will not be enough. In that case, I have had very good experiences with the Gardena electric drill pump (article no 1490-20) to get rid of the water while it is entering the bin.

When designing the funnel I optimized for not leaking water over being an easy FDM print, therefore it is somewhat harder to print and needs some tree supports. See the pictures or the 3mf file for a suggestion on how to print it best.

I printed it using some very cheap third party bulk PLA in 0.16mm with 3 wall loops. For that it makes sense to enable “Avoid crossing wall” to have less cheap PLA spiderwebs in the print.

It may work on other machines with a 75mm diameter, but I only tested it on the aforementioned LG.
