This model represents the JMSDF Akizuki-class destroyer (DD-115), a modern Japanese escort destroyer.

The Akizuki class is a modern Anti Submarine Warfare Destroyer designed to escort the lager japanese AEGIS Destroyers and the DDHs.

This model is designed as a display piece, focusing on exterior accuracy, proportions, and recognizable silhouette.
