  • Pilot G-2 07 Refill and Spring OR Sharpie S-Gel 0.7 Refill and Spring x 1:

Description

This is a simplified, sleek, and satisfying bolt-action pen. It is both fun to fidget with and comfortable to write with. My previous pen design had some issues: it printed inconsistently, was too delicate, and featured a bolt system that was not optimized. This newest design sets out to solve all of these problems. It prints horizontally in just 2 parts, solving the printing issues as well as making it very sturdy (it will never break under normal writing use or drops). Also, the bolt has been redesigned to be simpler and solve any issues with the previous one. Simply, print in your desired filament and assemble with your favorite refill color of Sharpie S-Gel 0.7 or Pilot G2 07 and get to writing, sketching, or jotting.

Assembly is very easy. Simply slide the ink and spring into the pen followed by the bolt. Now, screw the machine screw into the hole in the side of the bolt until tight. Finally, unscrew the machine screw about 1.5 turns so there is some clearance to allow for actioning the bolt mechanism. Now you have a satisfying and functional pen ready for use. I hope you enjoy this model!

If the mechanism sticks, try disassembling and reassembling as it sometimes gets into a strange position and can be stiff to move.
