Description

🛠️ Support the Process!

💡 What you see is what you get: Unlike many profiles that only upload digital renders of unprintable models, every single design here is fully test-printed, refined in Blender/Meshmixer, and optimized for FDM before release.

I spend hours tweaking geometries, custom supports, and wasting my own filament so that you can enjoy a flawless, hassle-free print on your first try.

If my test-printing hours saved your time and filament, feel free to keep my printers running and fuel the next project! Any support is greatly appreciated: paypal.me/mjrko84

💀 THE KEEPER OF KNOWLEDGE

"Even in death, he guards the forbidden texts... and your pens."

Transform your desk into a wizard's study or a necromancer's lair. This isn't just a pen holder; it's a statement piece of Dark Academia decor. A weathered, cracked human skull rests upon a stack of ancient books, surrounded by melting candles.

It is designed to hold your essential tools—pens, markers, wand pencils, or miniature painting brushes—keeping your workspace tidy while adding a touch of gothic macabre.

🔮 KEY FEATURES

  • Good Capacity: Holds approximately 6 standard pens/markers (as shown in photos with Sharpies and ballpoints).
  • The "Hollow Eye" Effect: The deep pen cavity intentionally breaks through the back of the eye sockets, creating a realistic hollowed-out look.
  • Detailed Texture: The bone cracks, book pages, and melting wax are designed to print beautifully on FDM printers and will look incredible with a simple dark wash/dry brush painting technique.
  • Dimensions: Approx. 9.5cm Tall / 11cm Deep / 9cm Wide.

⚙️ IMPORTANT: PRINT PROFILE & FILE INFO (Bambu Lab)

This model utilizes advanced slicing techniques for the best result. Please use the provided .3mf Project File.

  • The Magic of the .3mf: The raw STL has only a shallow recess. The included .3mf file uses a Negative Modifier (Primitive) to create the deep pen hole.
    • Pro Tip: You can move or resize this negative modifier in Bambu Studio if you want to customize the hole size or position!
  • Supports: Required. Tree (Organic) supports are highly recommended (see photos for reference).
  • ⚠️ FRAGILE PART WARNING: Be extremely careful when removing supports near the candle wicks. Even if the wicks themselves aren't supported, the vibrations from removing nearby support branches can snap them off (like i did :-) ). Use flush cutters and patience in those areas.

📜 "They say this scholar spent his entire life searching for the ultimate truth hidden in these tomes. He died at his desk, quill in hand. Now, centuries later, he continues to serve, holding the tools of knowledge for the next generation of seekers."

Technical & Creative Note: This design is based on an AI generation that I have manually refined, heavily modified for functionality (creating the pen holder cavity and base structure), and tested on FDM prints to ensure printability. The featured photos are of the actual physical print.
