Description

I had some problems keeping my HTC Vive connected all the time, but it was annoying to reconnect every time I used it, especially because the cables were too short and I had to dive under my desk to get to the linkbox. To fix this I designed this mount for the 5.25" bay of my PC case (Fractal Design Define 7), with the pc-side cables routed through the case and out the back, making it very easy to connect my VR headset when needed.

Additionally I modified the linkbox to have a front-facing led and since the power adapter was 12V I adapted the cable to use a spare molex plug of the PCs power supply. Have used it for a few years without any issues.

For printing I'd recommend PETG since at least my PLA print was a bit brittle and one of the mounting clips snipped off.
