Hi, I’m thrilled to introduce a brand-new design to you – Robot B.

This robot adopts the concept of partial print-in-place, and can be assembled in just a few simple steps.

TPU material has been incorporated into the joints, ensuring that the damping effect lasts much longer.

What’s more, this robot features far more movable parts, which greatly enhances its playability.

With its rounded and smooth appearance, it looks much more approachable. I’ve also made some adjustments to its size, hoping that kids will like it.

This robot requires two kinds of filament for printing: PLA and TPU, but neither an AMS nor a dual toolhead is needed.

Three profiles are provided here:

PLA + TPU90A

PLA + TPU95A

PLA + TPU for AMS

Please select the printing profile based on the TPU filament you have.

Different specifications of TPU vary in hardness, and the parts also have minor structural differences.

Tips

1 Please note the  L and R markings.

 

2 When moving a joint for the first time, grip the areas close to both sides of the joint; otherwise, it may cause damage to certain parts of the joint.

 

3 When using TPU for AMS, pay attention to the insertion direction. An incorrect direction may cause the TPU part to crack. However, even if cracking occurs, it will not affect the usage as long as the part can still be assembled in place.

 

4 Please note the direction of the TPU part.
