Description
Gravitrax/ Skytrax FlexTubes to create connections between tiles. For Skytrax, I have uploaded the corresponding matching models here. Can be used to build Gravitrax marble runs. Since I am printing this for my children, I will gradually create and upload more models here.
To ensure the precise fit of the base element and the curves, printing should be done at a layer height of 0.16mm. They fit quite snugly so that nothing wobbles. Elephant's foot and similar issues will therefore likely require post-processing. I have printed models multiple times and for me, they fit immediately. Supports are necessary and must be cleanly removed afterward. After putting them together for the first time (with some care!), you have to turn them back and forth a few times. They can be disassembled again, but I haven't tested how often that works yet. I reduced the speed of the outer walls to 70mm/s and supports are necessary.
In my opinion, the positioning of the individual models on the build plates is the best position after I have tried several variants.
I printed it with BambuLab PETG HF, as I have had very good experiences with this filament, but it will work just as well with PLA.
