Description

These New Year’s Eve glasses are guaranteed to steal the show 🎉


Print two pairs — trust me, someone will definitely ask for one. 😄

 

The glasses are pre-colored and multi-part, making it easy to customize them in your favorite filament colors. Perfect for multi-color printers, but they also look great in a single color.


Assembly

After printing, simply press the arms into the frame — no glue required.


Fit adjustment

If the glasses feel too narrow or too wide, you can scale the model on the X axis only.
The same applies to the arms if needed.

First uncheck the Uniform scale!


I printed several test pieces using different filament types.
With black and white and green filaments, the parts fit together smoothly and the arms slid into the frame without any issues.

However, with metallic filaments (for example gold silk), the fit can be tighter due to material characteristics.
In this case, it is recommended to reduce the model size by 0.2 - 0.4 mm on the Z axis for the arms to achieve a proper fit.

First uncheck the Uniform scale!


After printing, let the build plate cool down completely before removing the parts.
Removing the model while the plate is still warm may cause the thin slats or details to bend or break accidentally due to strong bed adhesion.

Taking a little extra time here helps preserve the clean details of the model.
