Description
I love lithophane!
Initially I used a lamp base that was designed for specialized LEDs. That was too dangerous for me with 230V. Then I built an adapter so that I could route an LED strip in a circle inside the lamp but the shadow on the lid bothered me
Additionally the cable still had to be soldered
Now after some consideration I decided to use my own lamp base
I wanted a cheap and readily available light source
I am a fan of USB connections so the choice fell on the Bambu kit 001
A good choice! The design is chosen such that the kit 001 only needs to be inserted and the cable routed through the lamp base all without glue or screws
Likewise everything should not be too material intensive lamp base with holder just under 150g. The lithophane depending on the image should also be around 150g
Also the surface should be textured so that the print lines are barely visible
I hope you have a lot of fun reprinting it
I have attached instructions for creating suitable lampshades
The diameter of 126.2mm is important so that the lampshade fits on the holder
