🎯 Objective
End the game with more controlled territory than your opponents.
A territory counts for you if:
- It is fully enclosed by walls, and
- It contains only your token(s)
Each square inside such a territory is worth 1 point.
🧩 Setup
- Players: 2–4
- Board: 7×7 grid
- Walls: Each player has 20 walls for the entire game
Tokens per Player
- 2 Players: 4 tokens each
- 3–4 Players: 2 tokens each
Initial Placement
- Players take turns placing tokens on empty squares.
- No two tokens may occupy the same square.
🔄 Turn Order
Players take turns clockwise.
Each turn consists of two mandatory steps:
- Move one token
- Place one wall
Skipping either step is not allowed.
🚶 Token Movement
- Move 0, 1, or 2 spaces with a single token.
- Allowed movement:
- Straight (horizontal or vertical)
- L-shaped (one space, then one perpendicular)
- A 0-space move (staying in place) is only legal if the token could move one space away and immediately back.
Movement Restrictions
- Tokens may not:
- Move through walls
- Leave the board
- End on a square occupied by another token
🧱 Wall Placement
- Exactly one wall must be placed after moving.
- Walls are placed between two adjacent squares.
- Walls:
- May not overlap
- May not be placed on the outer edge of the board
- Are permanent once placed
- Fully trapping a token is explicitly allowed.
Each player may place up to 20 walls during the game.
🏰 Territories & Scoring
- Walls divide the board into enclosed territories.
- A territory scores only if it contains tokens from one player only.
- A territory may contain multiple tokens of the same player.
- Each tile inside your territory scores 1 point.
You may score by enclosing areas that contain opponent tokens, as long as the territory belongs exclusively to you.
⏹️ Game End
The game ends immediately when any of the following conditions is met:
- All players have used all 20 walls
- No player can make a legal move
- All tokens are fully enclosed within territories
🏆 Winning the Game
- Add up all territory points.
- The player with the highest total score wins.
- In case of a tie, the game ends in a draw.
