This Sorting Hat–inspired glasses holder is designed to securely hold most eyeglasses while doubling as a fun display piece.

 

The model prints cleanly using basic brown and black filament and really comes to life with a simple black dry-brush finish to bring out the folds and texture. No painting experience required, just a light touch.

 

Printing Notes

    •    Designed to print in one piece

    •    Bottom supports are required

    •    Supports can be a bit tricky, but they remove cleanly with patience

    •    Works well with standard support settings

    •    No AMS required

 

Recommended Settings

    •    Layer height: 0.2 mm

    •    Infill: 10–15%

    •    Supports: Touching build plate

    •    Filament: PLA (brown + black accent or dry brush)

I have been looking for an eye glass holder and nothing got me. I am so glad I saw this one. I am hug HP geek and will print this tonight. Will post tomorrow final product/ Thankyou
