Boost Me (for free)

If this model made your project easier, please consider giving it a boost—it really helps support future designs. Thanks!

!!!WARNING!!! IF YOU SCALE THE MODEL, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRINT IN PLACE HINGE MAY FAIL

Comment for me to upload a certain size, please figure out what percentage scale you want because I do not know how much to scale the model to fit your crochet eyes.

I added a new cone hinge print profile for those whose parts are breaking. It should be more reliable but the tolerance gaps might be too big.

I am no longer going to be updating this model from now on because editing STLs is super annoying and hard for me and bambu studio 2.6.0 Public Release is so slow.

I wanted a pair of safety eye hand crimpers/pliers, but I didn’t feel like buying one. I looked around for a printable version and only found a design that required a screw. I wasn’t sure if I had the right screw on hand, and I didn’t want to deal with finding one or assembling anything.

So I modified the design to be print-in-place, with no extra hardware needed.

This is a great print if you crochet and want to save your hands from some pain—or if you know someone who crochets and doesn’t already have a tool like this.

I have added a raw model file version that adds some chamfers to the model to try to fix the problem of the pliers breaking or getting stuck but wasn't able to make a 3mf file or print it for another print profile.
