Description

Updated with a new variant! Now includes a extended holster for use with adapters.

Bit Holder for longer 50mm or even 75mm bits, stacked vertically, with magnets for retention.
I hate how most holders get in the way of the handle, especially with 50mm bits. So I made this :D

4 Versions:
Short: 4 Bits per side, made for 1.5 and 2Ah Batteries;
Long: 6 Bits per side, compatible with every larger battery, so 3 - 12Ah.
New:
Long & Short + Extension: Also 4/6 Bits, with the uppermost holster extended to 24mm, to hold an adapter or similar.

You'll need:

  • 6mm x 3mm round magnets, preferably high strength N50/N52
  • M4x10 or M4x12mm screws of your preferred type
  • Superglue for the magnets

Just glue the magnets in place with a tiny bit of superglue, they should be a fairly loose fit without glue.
Likewise, the bits are loose and not held by friction, so magnets are necessary.
Or make a remix for a friction fit, STEP-Files included ;)

This perfectly fits the DTD172 / XDT19 and should work on DTD173 / XDT20,
with older models and drills being close, but not perfect. Works on them too, though.

Printed in Bambu PETG-CF Grey on X1C, profile supplied.
(Bits pictured are ROTEC Diamond Impact and Wera Impaktor)
