Angelic Guardian with Sword – Detailed 3D Model

This elegant 3D model of an angel with spread wings and a two-handed sword represents a powerful symbol of protection, strength, and serenity. The angel stands in a composed, dignified pose with the sword resting on the ground, giving the model a majestic and balanced appearance.

Excellent design and print! I added a slight “fuzzy” finish to make it look like worn stone. Took LOTS of patience to remove all of the supports, but worth it in the end. Thanks for the design!

The sword near the handle somehow didn't go and fell off, but I trimmed it and glued it on

Beautiful print! I scaled it up to 8 inches and it took 11 1/2 hours to print. Printed in PLA Marble. Not sure what happened but while printing the sword it seems to have shifted. I ended up breaking it off at the shift (on purpose) and glued it back on. The supports were hell to get off!!! I broke off a few of the wing tips without realizing until it was too late.

The sword wobbles back and forth from mid-height, as Bambu Studio does not create supports there for the sword even after several attempts. That's probably why it broke off on some prints. No idea how to change that

should I try printing it on its back, like lying down?

Hm. I don't think this would be a good idea - highly detailed prints would lose their detail or look muddy. Also, you would then have an enormous area that needs to be supported. Of course, I'm not stopping you from trying it - but I wouldn't do it. There's probably a function in Bambu Studio that allows you to manually force supports. However, I haven't looked into that yet. Actually, I would like it if a model with a corresponding print profile could be printed "out of the box" like that.

it clearly says print with supports, if you get spagetti you might have forgot to add outer brims ;)
