Description

I wanted a case for my Z-fold 7 that i could mount in my car. Problem is that QuadLock does not sell these cases sadly.

I made this case fit perfect, adding just a few millimitres of thickness to the camera so the camera's won't get scratched.

Tested with PLA and it seems to work perfect.

QuadLock MAG-ring fits perfect and stays put.

How to insert your phone in the case:

Push your phone in from the top till it clicks into the camera array, then you can click the bottom part of the phone in.

Take the phone out of the case by doing the opposite. Take it out the bottom, then pull phone away from the case and slide it out.

Hi there! Thank you for your interest. I did not know about rockform before you asked. I do not own or use anything from rockform. I can create a case which might work with rockform but i cannot guarantee it will work correctly. If you would be willing to test it for me once i (re)make the case i'm willing to try and make a rockform compliant model.

Sure, I use Rokform on my motorcycle to hold my phone, i have a sacrificial case i stuck the rather large and annoying universal mount to with 3m vhb tape. It allows me to use the mount with my Fold 7, but due to the large heavy aluminum universal bracket its not very pocketable or nice to use off the bike. I do have cases with the bracket built into them for other phones(Made by Rokform), i could send you one of those and you could model it and add it onto a Fold 7 case or other items as well phones or items. I am very new to 3d printing and am learning still so i don't yet possess the skills to make a model of the Rokform indention mechanism.

the case fits nice and snuggly and I like that it makes the back side gets rid of the issue with the camera bump but it would be nice if there was a small cut out or relief to make accessing the side buttons a bit easier

Would you mind sharing the original file or add holes on the back for magnets or something I mostly use the quadlock but I also have a magnetic mount that I use from time to time.
