šŸŒŖļø Stranger Things: The Mind Flayer

Bring the Upside Down to your printer! This highly detailed Mind Flayer (Shadow Monster) figure perfectly captures the menacing, organic silhouette of the ultimate evil from Stranger Things.

šŸ–Øļø Print Information & Tips

Caution: This model might be difficult to print on a bed slinger. I recommend to print it on a CORE XY

This model comes with pre-configured print settings to get you started immediately.

  • Scale: By default, the figure is quite small with a print time of only about one hour. However, you are welcome to scale the model up to any size you prefer!
  • Supports: Optimized support structures are included in the profile. Please be very careful when removing the supports to ensure the delicate parts of the figure do not break.
  • Profile: Plug & Play – just load it and start printing.
  • Filament Recommendation: Black, Dark Grey, or Deep Purple (Matte filaments work best) to achieve that authentic shadow-look from the show.

šŸŒ‘ About the Model

The design is based on the spider-like appearance of the Mind Flayer. Thanks to the fine details, the figure looks incredibly dynamic and eerie—as if it just crawled right out of the screen.

Happy printing! If you like the model, please leave a rating or upload a photo of your finished print. I’d love to see how your version turns out!

great print definitely be careful when removing supports cuz they are underneath the body and the legs and arms are pretty thin but worth it if you're having the entire collection

Replying to @Alexashell :
I use black silk PLA for the filament and just follow the standard protocols in the 3MF slicer

The legs are way too slim, maybe if you decrease the speed it will be better

A truly epic print. The tail didn’t survive the battle to completion, but with a bit of glue, it was restored and stands proud once again. This was one of my first large prints, and rather than abandon it, I pushed through, and that perseverance paid off. The design is incredible, bold, and absolutely worth the journey. A triumphant result that I’m genuinely proud of.

xD which one did you print? mine printed fine, it's crazy how print results differentiate between printers. You probably printed the small version didn't you? you probably need to scale it up a bit or print slower
