Description

This little print will allow you to charge regular Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-Mh) batteries internally in your Garmin GPSMAP 64S without purchasing the OEM Ni-Mh battery pack from Garmin.  Inside the GPSMAP 64S battery case is a little black switch which gets pushed in when the OEM Garmin Ni-Mh battery pack is inserted, thus allowing internal charging.  This 3d printed part fits snugly between the two batteries to keep the above-mentioned switch pushed in.  Charging is then possible using the standard USB interface provided on the unit.  Note that you should never attempt to recharge any non-rechargeable batteries or any other battery that is not Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-Mh).

This print should fit into any device that takes the Garmin Ni-Mh battery pack but please check compatibility here…NiMH Battery Pack
