Arborist Throw Weight For Air Launcher

This is a basic throw weight for use with an air launcher. The added weight is needed for it to come down the other side of the tree. 280g - 340g is good for normal hand throwing.

With an air launcher I suggest using the minimum possible pressure. Test in a safe area from 10psi.

TPU should be best, I imagine other filaments will shatter when they land.

You will need:

• A steel welded D ring for tying the string. This can be inserted with the print paused. 
• lead shot or steel shot. Pause the print near the top and fill it.

For the striped two colours, I printed the model as a single colour, cut and fed the filament as needed without any pauses or purging however I added the colour changes to slicer anyway.

I have not yet tested this design, use at your own risk.

I found the first design too small, weighing only 120g. The second plate weighs about 280g.

My launcher tube is roughly 41.7mm and these are intended to have about 0.5mm clearance.
