Glass-Like Transparent Profile for Elegoo Rapid PETG
This print profile is specifically tuned to achieve maximum transparency with Elegoo Rapid PETG Clear. Standard profiles often result in a milky or white finish due to micro-bubbles and cooling speed. This profile adjusts speed, flow, and layer times to create a "glass-like" crystal clear effect on your Benchy or other models.
🔑 Key Settings in this Profile:
- Speed: High speed set. You can set a slow speed yourself and see if the transparency improves.
- Infill: You can set 100% yourself to assess whether transparency is better
- Cooling: Minimized to prevent clouding.
- Layer Height: Optimized for light transmission.
- Temperature: Tuned for Elegoo Rapid PETG (High temp for bonding).
⚠️ IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- DRY YOUR FILAMENT: This is critical! Wet PETG will create bubbles and ruin the glass effect. Dry at 65°C for at least 4-6 hours before printing.
- Clean Plate: Ensure your build plate is perfectly clean for a flawless first layer.
- Patience: This profile prints slowly intentionally. Do not increase the speed via the printer screen, or the transparency will be lost.
