Print Profile(1)

Description
The Tui is a native bird of New Zealand. It has a distinctive song created by two voice boxes. The Tui is a nectar eater and loves the flowers of the flax and other nectar producing plants. The English colonists referred to the Tui as The Parson bird ecause it has a bunch of white feathers at its throat that look like that of an old English vicar.
