  use any foam sheet you want, it should be 2mm thick.

Assembly guide

1.  This is pretty much what you need to install it.

   

2. Glue the backplate to foam sheet

   
   press the backplate until it sticks

   

   make sure the foam is properly glued, then cut all the edges

   

   

3. Glue the faceplate to the mount

   

   

   press the faceplate until it sticks

   

4. internal USB installation

   

    

   1. I glued the usb c, but that's not 100% necessary

      

   2. now place the usb in the usb hole 

      

   3. use one of the usb steppers to press the usb

      

      
       

5. external USB installation

   

    

   1. Glue the thicker usb stepper first

      

   2. place the usb and press with the other stepper
      🚨important step, check now if the usb is working as expected.
      slide the iPad and check if it is charging.
       

   3. glue the stepper to keep the usb c fixed in place.

      

   4. Organize the cable

      

    

6. Now install this on the wall

   

   Make sure its leveled

   

   After leveling, screw in the rest of the screws

   

7. Final step, attach the backplate

   

8. Done, slide your iPad and enjoy it
