Description
I created a dust extraction adapter here for the Hammer A3, which is based on the magnetic coupling by @alxtech . https://makerworld.com/de/@alxtech/upload
However, I modified the system a bit.
In my case, the magnets are pressed in from the top, which means they don't need to be glued. (2 layers)
Of course, this slightly reduces the adhesive force, but in my case, it is sufficient.
10x3 mm N42 strength magnets were used https://www.supermagnete.de/scheibenmagnete-neodym/scheibenmagnet-10mm-3mm_S-10-03-N
If you want to secure it very robustly, you can secure it in the upper area with 3 M3 screws around the circumference.
A “protective block/ring” might follow.
For me, the whole thing just holds as is, slide it on and be happy
