Description

I added the DXF file for the engraving I did on the container/box to hold the material test tabs, in the event someone would like to use it. Its in the download files section.

I do a lot of material tests for my laser as I like to engrave prints that arent being finished with paint. Ive found that most material tests that are printable through MakerWorld and handy to be too large or not have the necessary print profiles for different types of material. I decided to standardize on a size that works for me, add a container that makes it easy to organize (as often I have them laying everywhere) and add a small tab to make it easy to get them in and out of the container.

The container has small dividers to group the tabs by 5, which makes it easier to get them in and out, and also allows me to sort them a bit by type. I dont expect this to be useful to everyone but figured I would share in the event that anyone else, is interested.

The Tab size is 50.8mm, which means you can fit a 10x10 material test array of squares that are 2mm with a 1.5 gap between them. (i remove a lot of the filler text, as I often find it unnecessary.)
