Description

It's been a few months since I've released a Docobot, so I figured it was time. Today I have a waffle bot by the name of Van Der Batter. I designed this bot to be similar in size to my Sliced Bread bots as well as being compatible with A Toaster Named Crumbs.

This bot has actually been done for quite some time, but I was waiting until Crumbs was complete as well. Crumbs went through four or five redesigns and I'm 100% done altering that bot. Only thing left to do is make the assembly guides, and the guide for this bot was way easier than the guide for Crumbs, so this is the first one I'm releasing.

BACKSTORY

As the founder and CEO of Europe's largest arms manufacturer, Butterworth Ballistics, the bot known as Van Der Batter is in a position of considerable influence. Don't let his buttery charisma and crispy exterior fool you though, as a cold, syrup-less mechanical heart lies beneath. Secretly, Van Der Batter is the head of the ruthless Belgian Wafia and a founding member of the Breadacons, a rogue faction of Docobots with plans to rule the world.

WAFFLEBOT ASSEMBLY GUIDE

Assembly of this model is very easy. We’re going to start by taking a Forearm and sliding a Maple Bacon Hand Cannon into it.

Next you will need an Upper Arm and a Bone. Connect the Forearm and bone to the upper arm. Take note of the bevel on the Upper Arm (circled in the photo). That bevelled edge is the side of the Upper Arm that the Forearm connects into.

Repeat the process for the second arm and then put them aside for a moment.

Next, take a Shin, Thigh and Bone and connect them as seen in the photo below. Repeat the steps for the second leg and set them aside.

Connect the Head to the Body as seen below.

The last step is to take the arms and legs, connect them to the body, and you’re all done.
