Not finding a truly practical entrance, I created this one which seems to me to meet the protection needs of our hives.
This entrance is designed for Warré hives and 6-frame Dadant nucs.
It prevents the intrusion of Asian hornets thanks to its height limited to 5mm.
It is presented in several versions:
- Whole: printable as is on a printer with a 256*256 build plate
- separated into 3: The idea here is to leave the 2 ends in place and only add the central part when pressure starts.
As a bonus, I added an optional landing strip.
