Description

This collection includes a complete set of Gridfinity-compatible kitchen organizers.
The design was developed through iterative testing, focusing on a clean and pleasant aesthetic with soft transitions and no sharp edges, while prioritizing comfort and ease of access when picking up each item.
A uniform height of 7U (49 mm) was chosen as a practical standard, providing sufficient depth to store a good number of cutlery pieces without compromising usability.
At this stage, the models are primarily dimensioned and tested for IKEA kitchen products, ensuring a precise and reliable fit within that ecosystem.

@good_enough where did you get the smaller fork one from? I'm still waiting on @darionji for it.

Hi @mgiusto I uploaded also the model of the small fork in the print profile. I sent an update notification of the new model added, but probably I did something wrong and it wasn’t received

I found it, thanks! How do you create these? I tried to create one for the longer spoon (19cm) in Fusion 360 by importing your spoon one and resizing but you can't do it that way because it changes the gridfinity bottom. I'd love to learn how to design these on my own.

Love these but I need one for longer spoons, and shorter forks from Ikea. I have small forks about the same size as the small spoons and then longer thin spoons that are between the small and large spoon you have in this design. I've added a pic for reference, I put the smaller forks on top of large forks and longer spoons on top of large spoons.

Hi mgiusto, thank you for appreciating my design! I can manage to do it for you if u can provide a picture top-down as vertical as possible of your fork/spoon from 40/50cm of height to avoid distortion. For the same reason is better to take a picture without wide angle (x0.5) but to use 1x or also zoom 2x is fine. Please add to the picture also the name of the ikea collection so I can update the description properly. Thanks

Here are two pictures of the spoon and the fork next to a metric ruler. I also added a 3rd picture of my drawer, I would like a box for the remaining gridfinity squares that are left, I want it to be 49mm high but want it to cover all those open squares. I tried to create this in Fusion 360 with the gridfinity add-on but just couldn't figure out how to step it like that, seemed you could only create squares or rectangles. I think this is the Ikea set with the fork and knife, but not sure: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/foernuft-20-piece-flatware-set-stainless-steel-90043076/ Thank You! So much for any help you can provide!

darionji, thank you I like your design, It would be great if you could add short forks to create a full FÖRNUFT 20-piece flatware set

Hello, do you have the base where you subtracted the "utensils"?

Hi! Sure. It’s actually a standard gridfinity box of size 1x4 and 1x5 (just for the knifes) and height of 6U up to 9U (I used the standard height of 7mm for each U. I use Fusion360 as a modeling software and it exists an addon for creating gridfinity boxes and bases. Anyway, I can share it to you if you still need it.

Thank you so much! I was able to edit it directly on the bambu studio and do the "glass straws". But for the rest I will go with the Fusion360. :)

Hi @spike704, the design is 7U (49mm) and in this format its able to contain 5 steak knives. The slot in the bin is symmetric so that the knives can be staked alternatively as you can see in the picture. Otherwise the number of knives would be lower. I am working on designing all the bins in parametric way or with different option of height.
