Print Profile(2)

Description
On 2026.1.10, the internal fillets of the crank handle and cable clip were adjusted for smoother winding and unwinding.

On 2026.1.1, the model was revised again, separating the angles of the two feet slightly for greater stability.
New model diagrams:

I. Design Concept
When watching others work outdoors, a portable cable reel is often used. It's convenient for drawing power from a distance and easy to retrieve, winding back with a simple shake. It's quite convenient, so I wanted to make a simple one myself.
Design drawings:

Unlike other cable reel sockets that require manual winding, this socket only needs one hand to turn the handle to easily retract a 2.5 square millimeter cable
II. Features
Simple structure, easy installation, simple printing, and hardware costs less than 5 yuan. It features a central shaft rotation mechanism, so when in use, simply lift the handle, and the cable reel automatically rotates to release the cable as you move, eliminating the need for manual cable management. Use it on the go and free your hands.
When winding the cable, turn the 3D Printed crank handle to quickly and easily retract the cable. The end cable slot design secures the cable end after winding, preventing it from loosening.
Both the handle and the crank handle are knurled to enhance grip.

IV. Notes:
1. Primarily for indoor use, as it is not waterproof.
2. Since I only had a 2-core cable for demonstration, please try to use a 3-core cable when building this; the ground wire is very important, remember that!
3. The installation diagrams are detailed and numerous, available for download as a PDF.
4. The cable reel hole doesn't necessarily have to be drilled my way; as long as it aligns with any U-shaped groove, it works. I've tried it, but drilling in the middle is more aesthetically pleasing and convenient.
