Description

Have you ever had problems to decide which scale to practice? This dice helps to decide. It features all 12 keys. Roll it and it shows you a random key to practice.

The print profile uses the German system (C D E F G A H). You can find a version using the English system (C D E F G A B) in the stl files.

Printing stats:

Printer Brand: BamubLab
Printer: A1 Mini
Layer height: 0.2mm
Supports: no
Adhesion: would recommend
Infill: I used 10%, but you can choose whatever works

Alternative stats, (Credits: @sekodogi):

Scale: 150%
Layer height: 0.12mm (fine)
Speed: 60mm/s outer walls
Infill: 30% Gyroid (for heavy roll feel)
Ironing: all top surfaces
Support: tree on buildplate only

It printed great so that’s what I’m rating but I’ve been playing the piano for ten years and I have no clue what the H flat or H keys are. Also there are no sharp key signatures.

Hi, mate, thanks for your feedback. H and H flat are the german ways of writing the pitch B, you can also find an english version in the files as stl

Great model! I'm using this to help with my bass guitar and piano practice, and it’s a lifesaver for music theory. I printed this on my Bambu Lab A1 and found that scaling it to 150% is the 'sweet spot' for a premium feel and easier post-print painting.My settings for a perfect print:Scale: 150% (approx. 30mm).Layer Height: 0.12mm (Fine) for crisp notation.Speed: 60 mm/s Outer Wall (crucial for clean symbols).Infill: 30% Gyroid (gives it a solid, 'heavy' dice roll).Ironing: Enabled on all top surfaces for a smooth finish.Supports: Tree Organic (On build plate only).Highly recommend scaling it up if you plan to paint the letters. Thanks for the design!

great model, printed nicely. I used it to decide on what scales to practise and for improv practise with my band. great for any musician trained professionally, casually, classical or pop (but maybe not drummers ;)
