Recommended Print Settings
To ensure durability and heat resistance, I recommend the following settings:
- Material: PETG or ASA (Better heat resistance than PLA).
- Infill: 100% (Essential for the strength of the thin prongs and needle).
- Orientation: Print horizontally (on its side) with Tree Supports for maximum structural integrity. Printing vertically may cause the prongs to snap between layers.
- Layer Height: 0.12mm - 0.16mm for smooth curves on the twisted handle.
Usage Note
While 3D-printed plastics are great for packing, avoid leaving the tool in direct contact with hot coals or a scorching bowl for extended periods.
