This is a side tray add-on for mini tool carts, designed to mount magnetically and rest on the cart for support, allowing it to fit snug while still letting the lid fully close. Itâs compatible with the Harbor Freight General Mini Tool Cart, Kobalt Mini Tool Cart, and other similar mini toolboxesâany color.
This design is a remix of âAccessories for Harbor Freight Mini Toolboxesâ by nealc10 and is intended to work in conjunction with the Harbor Freight Mini Toolbox Cart by BBâs 3D Garage, where the tray physically rests on the cart for added stability.
Whatâs Included
Updated Side Tray
The tray was adjusted to sit flush against the cart while being partially supported by it, improving stability and overall fit. Bracket spacing was corrected to provide a snug fit and cleaner print results. A brim is recommended.
Two Tray Versions (Magnet-Specific)
The print profile includes two tray versions:
- One designed for 10 Ă 2 mm round magnets
- One designed for 8 Ă 3 mm round magnets
Both trays are identical in size and function. The only difference is the magnet pocket depth.

Magnet Information
Strong magnets are recommended.
With weaker magnets, this tray should be treated as a display or light-duty accessory.
Magnets are press-fit. A small drop of CA glue is recommended if you want a permanent hold.
