Description

This is an oil funnel which locks onto the valve cover of the Alfa Romeo Busso v6 to make filling the engine with oil easier. The bottom is designed like the oil cap and it tightens as it is twisted into place, and the funnel is angled to make for an easy pour. The funnel opening is 100mm.

MAKE SURE NOT TO OVERTIGHTEN. There is a risk of breaking the ears off into the engine and that would require removing the valve cover and possibly more to fix. It only needs a light twist to be in place, it does not need to be tightened.

The funnel is printed as two pieces to minimize the amount of support material required. The design is notched so that it will always be correctly oriented as it is glued together. I used E6000 but other glues will work just as well. A little bit of glue on the faces will make for a good seal.
