Description
A friend who works in a research lab needed some test tube racks for some conical test tubes. Designed a rack with dovetailed sides, tolerances on the dovetails are pretty close, used a nylon hammer to persuade the racks together...if loose due to different settings or filament, a drop of superglue on the flats around the dovetail should do the trick.
Plates with the 1x8, 2x8 and 3x8 in both "normal" and "loose" variants.
With the white matte PLA, noticed that a few of the holes were just a touch tight, there was a bit of an elephant's foot-like ridge at the bottom of the chamfer, a bit of sanding fixes that, but added a "loose set" for all three racks, I increased the hole diameter from 16.8 mm to 16.9 mm for those. Note: The test tubes claim to be 17x120 mm, but the diameter of the tube is actually quite a bit smaller.
