Description
DIY 0-36V power supply
This is the enclosure for my homebuilt power supply. It's using parts easily found online.
In this project you'll practice your soldering and wiring. In the end you'll have a nice, little power supply to run your projects.
This project is based on AC voltage! If you have no experience with such voltages or you are not trained electrician do NOT build it for your own safety!
For this project you will need:
- 36V DC power supply module found on Aliexpress (HIGH VOLTAGE WARNING!)
- AC-01 socket with fuse and switch, no mounting holes
- SK120 buck converter module
- 40x40 24V fan (or any other voltage, it's powered from buck converter)
- LM2596HV buck converter (for a fan)
- panel banana sockets with M4 mounting screw
- M2 threaded inserts
- M2 and M3 screws and nuts
- patience and basic electrical knowledge
The holding tabs of SK120 buck converter module have to be trimmed for it to fit nicely in the case!
